Are There Patterns in Baccarat?

There are no secret patterns in baccarat as it’s a coin flip game in which there is no influence over the outcome, and the decision you can make is made before the hand is dealt.

Baccarat pattern recognition is about looking at the past hands and then making an educated guess on the following hand. But is it real? Can it be used to beat baccarat once you unlock the secret pattern?

Baccarat Pattern Recognition

Attempts were made to come up with a betting system that would recognize patterns in baccarat. There is no applied way to do it in your head while you’re gambling, as all attempts to recognize any pattern would have to rely on a large sample of outcomes.

Law of Averages

Law of Averages is not a real mathematical law – it’s a false belief that the outcome of the games such as baccarat depends on the outcome of previous hands and that it should “even out”.

So, for instance, a player believing the Law of Averages and sees five Bankers in a row will then think to himself that the gambler must win the next hand since it must then seven out in the long run.

Are The Baccarat Decks Being Shuffled?

If the game decks of cards used to play baccarat are being shuffled after each hand, then there is no way to recognize any kind of secret pattern in the game of baccarat. It will not work, since every hand begins with a “fresh” deck, and the probability odds are reset.

Bet on Banker, Player, or Tie?

You should not ever bet on Tie, and the Banker is a good bet by measly 0.36%. There is only one exception to this, and that’s the 5Dimes Bonus Zero Baccarat.
