How Match Play 21 Works?

Blackjack Match Play 21 is played with 2 to 6 decks where you get rid of all the 10’s. The house edge increases when the tens are removed. The rules of this game are the same as the traditional black. The game aims to beat the dealer’s hand and get more points. However, your winning hand must not go over 21 otherwise you lose.

  • Dealer hits hard 21
  • The dealer will check for blackjack with an ace or the revealed
  • You are allowed to split hands
  • A re-split of aces is permitted from players
  • You can draw to split aces
  • You may surrender
  • There is no way that you can re-double

Online Match 21 Strategy

Here are a few tips and tricks that will help you beat the dealer:

  • When the dealer shows a card of 8 or less you should split 2’s and 3’s.
  • A pair of six can be split by you if the dealer has a 4,5 or 6.
  • Should the dealer show an 8, you must split 8’s.
  • Aces must always be split.
  • If the dealer is showing a 2, 7, 10, or ace that means 9’s should be split.

You must double down on your hands if:

  • The deal has a 6 and when you have a hard 9.
  • 11’s needs to double down.
  • If you have a 10 and dealer shows 2 through 8.
  • When the dealer has a 4, 5, or 6, your 17 or 18 double down.
  • Your soft 15 can double down when the dealer shows 6.
  • Should a dealer show a 5 or 6 your soft 16 can be doubled down.
