Roulette game is one of the most popular games played all over the world. Moreover, amongst all the variations of the roulette in both online casinos and land-based, the European version best fits the preferences of the majority of casino players. The main reason for its huge popularity is that it gives players a great chance to earn, as the house advantage is merely 2.63%.
As per the standard rules, the European roulette table consists of 37 numbers, from 0, then 1 to 36 on which wagers are made. The wheel is then divided into two colors, which are red and black. To the right of zero in the arc, there are nine small numbers in black (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17), and then there are nine big numbers in red (19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 32, 34, 36) on the outside.

European Roulette Real Money
As noted, the European roulette wheel has 37 divisions, where numbers from 1 to 36 and 0 can be found. Numbers from 1 to 36 are consecutively colored in red and black, while the single zero is only marked in green. The main objective of the game is for players to predict, which numbered pocket of the roulette ball is going to settle into. To be able to do that, all game players make bets on a certain number, after the dealer turns the roulette wheel into one direction and then spins the roulette ball in the opposite. Once the ball has found its way into the pocket with that number, the respective players then get paid.
Basic rules of the European Roulette Game
When you play European roulette online. You will find out that the betting process is easy. The player places his/her chips on their chosen bet and press the” Spin” button. Once the wagering round is over, he/she must choose either to place another wager (” Rebet” button), or to leave the game (” Clear Bets” button).
At land-based casinos, the gambling process is as follows. Four members of the casino personnel attend to the roulette table. Two of them are croupiers and their function is to handle the stakes and spin the ball into the roulette wheel. The other two casino employees are called” table-end” (” bout de table”) and” game supervisor” (” chef de partie”), they make sure the game runs smoothly.
The number of players around the roulette table ranges between 1 and 8. The game of roulette is then initiated, once the croupier calls out” Place your bets” (or” Faites vos jeux”). Players are allowed to make the type of stakes we are about to mention later in the article. Next, the croupier place.
As soon as the ball has about two additional revolutions to go, the croupier calls out” No more bets” (or” Rien ne va plus”). From this point on, if any stakes are placed, they will be disregarded. Once the ball drops into one of the 37 numbered pockets, the croupier then identifies and announces the winning number. Bets that lost are then surrendered to the house, while all other winning bets are paid out.
